Caring connections, LLC
I earned my doctorate at the University of Denver with a specialization in couples and family therapy. Using an attachment focus and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), I help couples deepen their connection and intimacy. Many of my successful couples tell me they feel increased safety and comfort in the relationship. They say they feel validated and heard, which increases their level of connection and confidence in themselves and each other.
My focus in general with clients is to empower them to better cope with life transitions, including:
- relationship/pre-marital concerns
- pregnancy and postpartum issues
- adjusting to motherhood/fatherhood
- parenting
- adjusting to divorce
- co-parenting after a divorce
- navigating internet dating
- single parenting
- empty nest issues
- career challenges
- adolescent challenges
In addition to my clinical practice, I am an adjunct professor at the University of Denver Graduate School of Professional Psychology, teaching couples and family therapy and supervising doctoral students in their couples and family therapy cases at the Professional Psychology Center. I am also the staff psychologist at the JCC Ranch Camp through the Denver Jewish Community Center. I also teach a class for expectant moms at the Jewish Community Center in Denver.
